With the rather frigid last few days and upcoming months ahead of us, it is hard to stay motivated and drag your bum to the gym everyday. I figured I would share two of my favorite tips for staying fit and healthy this fall/winter.

No, but really. If you don’t focus on your tush, who will?  Instead of trekking it to the gym every single day <or using a snow day as an excuse not to go>, the below list exercised three times a week will burn oodles of calories:

10 Split-Leg Squat (each leg)
20 Regular/Double Squats
30 Lunges (15 each leg)
40 Toe Touches
50 Second Wall Sit
100 Jumping Jacks
50 Second Wall Sit
40 Toe Touches
30 Lunges (15 each leg)
20 Regular/Double Squats
10 Split-Leg Squat (each leg)
Repeat the cycle three times!

One of my biggest fears during flu season is catching the stomach virus. The thought of vomit is literally a crippling fear of mine. I heard through the grapevine that apparently Welch’s grape juice is a magical preventative. Sources say if you drink a glass of this every day, you are less likely to catch the bug. As crazy as this sounds, I without a doubt will be hitting up the Fresh Grocer first thing tomorrow AM to stock up on this craze. Whether this works or not, only time will tell. Stay tuned..
